Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Landscape and Sitework Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our landscape construction and sitework services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the landscaping and construction industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering top-tier service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the landscape and sitework markets, including commercial, residential, municipal, and institutional projects.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic planning, customer engagement, and closing deals.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and quotes based on project specifications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, follow-ups, and problem-solving.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings as a company representative.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity using House Call Pro software.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in landscape construction, sitework, or related industries.
- Familiarity with landscape, hardscape, grading, drainage, and erosion control practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans are a bonus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and House Call Pro
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience working with general contractors, developers, and landscape architects.
- Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission (commensurate with experience).
- Paid time off and holidays.
