Position Summary
The Lead Development Representative (LDR) will support the growth of GSG Protective Services, GSG Learning Institute, and Narrow Security by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Strategic Relations, the LDR will focus on outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and the creation of strategic outreach campaigns. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for relationship building, research, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients within GSG, GSG Learning Institute, and Narrow Security’s target markets, including healthcare, commercial real estate, entertainment, construction, retail, government, and critical infrastructure.
- Qualify inbound leads and conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and event follow-ups.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate prospect and pipeline data.
- Schedule discovery calls and introductory meetings for senior leadership or business development executives.
- Develop tailored outreach strategies using client-specific information and industry insights.
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns with sector-specific opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform prospecting efforts.
- Support trade show and event lead generation efforts and conduct post-event follow-ups.
- Provide weekly reports on outreach activities, lead status, and prospecting metrics.
- Assist in the drafting and circulation of blogs, press releases, and marketing content to enhance brand visibility and support lead generation efforts.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of proposals, collateral materials, and sales support documents.
- Provide weekly reports on outreach activities, lead status, and prospecting metrics.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for community involvement and assist in marketing and engagement efforts related to IAFE United, a nonprofit after-school athletic program supported by GSG Protective Services. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development (security or service industry experience a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and high-volume prospecting.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office.
- Organized, goal-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A team player with a proactive, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to travel 5 – 10% of their time.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with security services or facility management industries.
- Experience supporting B2B sales teams or working in a growth-stage environment.
- Ability to conduct prospect research and identify decision-makers in complex organizations.
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 + performance incentives]
