Supports corporate training needs and initiatives based on experience. Delivers and manages training content and performs project work to support the strategies of specific lines of business. Facilitates moderate to advanced course content based on experience level and is responsible for classroom management of mid-level team members. May develop content and work on projects of moderate complexity. Outside of the classroom, participates in divisional and LOB meetings and performs all administrative duties required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates and manages content aligned with aSynovus Leadership - Development Learning programs to include lending processes and mid-level leadership, in addition to all courses facilitated by Learning Specialists. May conduct line of business specialty workshops.
- Works on projects of diverse scope and moderate complexity as assigned by Lead Learning Specialist, Learning Business Partner or Director; receives limited instruction on routine work, general instruction on new assignments.
- Responsible for overall classroom management of mid-level team members to include coaching and redirection of behavior, follow-up with participants, their direct managers, and other division leadership, as needed.
- Masters required certifications, internal and external, for all training to be delivered as defined by role.
- Interacts with peers, defined divisional and LOB contacts, and other project-related SMEs to gather data, provide information or resolve lower level issues.
- Participates in divisional and LOB meetings at a moderate level.
- Serves as a mentor for Learning Specialists by assisting with certifications and observations.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
- Performs administrative and other related duties as required.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communication, Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4 to 6 years of financial services experience, including a minimum of 2 years of training/facilitating experience
- Business acumen in financial services, especially branch banking, business banking, credit or operations
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively to divisions and LOBs
- Strong facilitation and training experience
- Demonstrated experience in content and program design and development
- Ability to demonstrate consultative skills, make sound decisions and provide business-related solutions
- Ability to use professional knowledge and experience to analyze information and resolve problems of moderate complexity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
