Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2025-2026. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in the visual arts, including traditional studio and digital media Art and/or Art History.
- Prepare course schedule, syllabus, and reports relating to teaching and student progress.
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
- Other related tasks and/or duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Art, Art History or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience teaching in the arts at the college level.
- Practice in the field as it pertains to exhibition/production/publishing.
- Experience working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
