We are a law firm in the San Marco area, near downtown Jacksonville. Our firm has 13 attorneys, and you will work directly with 1-2 attorneys on all of their client's matters. We have been in the area for 30+ years and have a positive, collaborative work culture. The office has free parking, an employee lounge located in the building with tables, a TV, couch, and massage chair. We dress down every Friday, and the office closes at 4:30 every Friday.
Legal Assistant/Paralegal
We are looking for a full time, experienced legal assistant/paralegal who wants to work closely with their attorneys in managing their cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to lawyers with their cases
- Handle communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, etc.
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
Skills
- 5-7 years experience with Civil or Commercial Litigation
- Computer literacy and proficiency in English
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
