Job Summary
We are seeking a Legal Practice Assistant (LPA) with 3+ years of legal experience to join a prestigious Washington DC law firm.
This role will support Attorneys and Paralegals in the areas of Bankruptcy, Corporate, Environmental, Litigation, Real Estate, and Tax, Trusts & Estates.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and practice support to attorneys and associates across multiple practice areas
- Manage a high-volume workload and prioritize competing deadlines
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, documents, and reports
- Maintain client files and ensure accuracy of records
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communications for attorneys and clients
- Assist with document management and filing using electronic systems
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years legal experience in a law firm
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); InTapp; and knowledge of iManage and PowerPoint a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per hour
