Job Requirements:
- Applicants must be 15 years or older
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR/AED for lifeguards certifications or equivalent will be required for hire; certification classes offered in late May.
- Must pass practical skills test
- Must be able to work at varied locations & various shifts
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing exceptional guest services. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean swimming environment, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
- Conduct regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in organizing and leading swimming lessons or activities.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and maintenance performed.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong swimming skills.
- Experience in guest services is a plus, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for pool maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning and maintenance procedures is beneficial.
