The Westmoreland Club is looking for a Line Chef to help be a driving force in upholding our high standards of progressive and classic cuisine. Our focus is solely on providing excellent food and service to our members. The ideal candidate should be a passionate, energetic, personable and accommodating chef. We have access to an abundance of local, domestic and international ingredients to accommodate and fuel your creativity. An initial, extensive internal training will take place on each line station for your success. This role with be focused heavily on working all stations on a busy 2 restaurant line. Grill experience a must.
Job Duties:
- Write and follow production list based on menu items to set a station and efficiently perform service.
- Work hand and hand with chefs to create seasonal items for future menus.
- Learn and understand the language of incoming food service tickets for the particular station.
- After training, perform efficient line services following proper cooking aesthetics.
- Follow and/or develop appropriate recipes.
- Perform appropriate safety and sanitation practices.
- Use appropriate inventory control and utilization techniques for maximum freshness of product.
- Thorough cleaning of all station areas on a daily and weekly basis.
