Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee operations on the assembly line in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge. As a Line Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of workers to achieve production goals.
One week is 48 hours; other week is 36 hours; weeks rotate
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the assembly line team to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble components and fabricate products according to specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of the assembly line to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Train new employees on proper assembly techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and components, coordinating with warehouse staff for timely replenishment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the assembly line, applying problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in an assembly line environment with a focus on quality control is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
