This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks: Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must be willing and able to wash Live Haul trailers and cages with a water hose and spray nozzle. Must be willing and able to keep all Live Haul areas clean which includes working with chemicals indoors and outdoors. Must be willing to assist Cage Repair Attendant with job duties which includes working with small hand tools to assist in the repair of cages. Must be willing and able to do occasionally wing tip checks and temperature checks of birds at the processing plant. Must be willing and able to lift more than 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be willing and able to climb ladders and stairs. Must be willing and able to walk on concrete floors 5 to 7 days a week for 8 to 10 hours. Must be willing to work in extreme hot and cold in a non-toxic, dusty environment. Must be willing to work flexible hours, some weekends and holidays, and overtime. Must be willing to follow all Animal Welfare Guidelines and all Live Haul safety rules at all times. Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by Live Haul management.
