Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics & Fulfillment coordinator to join our dynamic operations team. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate processing, assembly, and shipment of customer orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting continuous improvement across logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Processing: Receive and verify incoming shipments from suppliers, ensuring all product data is accurate and complete.
- Order Fulfillment: Aliquot products into vials and assemble kits for customer orders and global inventory stocking.
- Inventory Management: Maintain precise inventory records using both manual and automated systems.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate cross-functionally to quickly resolve any product or shipment discrepancies.
- Vendor Coordination: Establish and manage vendor relationships to support evolving project requirements.
- Shipping & Documentation: Generate all required shipping documentation and dispatch orders in alignment with daily goals and customer expectations.
- Global Distribution: Ship orders domestically and internationally to customers and distribution hubs.
- Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring on-time delivery metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Process Optimization: Partner with teammates to enhance logistics workflows using creativity, resourcefulness, and data-driven insights.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management, including special projects, temporary assignments, or tasks necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the department.
Qualifications
- Experience in biotech logistics, supply chain, or lab operations is a plus
- Proficiency with NetSuite for inventory control, order processing, and fulfillment workflows preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping platforms (Ship manager, UPS WorldShip) preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Comfortable handling international shipping documentation and compliance.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
