Our client is seeking a Maintenance Multicraft Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Multicraft Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production and Engineering Teams.
Job Title: Maintenance Multicraft Technician
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay Range: $68K - $72K/ yr
Shift: 6am - 6pm
What’s the Job?
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems
- Support production areas to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks with proper documentation
- Install, maintain, and modify equipment in line with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and drive equipment improvements
What’s Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience (preferred)
- 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a production or facility setting
- Proficiency with Fanuc robotics, Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
