Maintenance Technician - 1st and 3rd shift available | $27/hr-$37/hr, Depending on Experience with a $2/hr differential for 3rd shift - 8 hour shifts
Aventure Staffing is searching for Maintenance Technicians for a wheel manufacturer in Estherville, IA. This client works in close partnership with leading OEMs to develop, manufacture and supply wheels that are specifically designed to meet the needs of the agricultural market. The primary function of this role is to install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems within the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and diagnose problems and/or repair machines
- Dismantle and re assemble defective machines and equipment
- Install and repair electrical apparatus of machinery and equipment
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Measures, cuts, threads, and installs new pipe, and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
- Repair and maintain physical structure of plant
- Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience and/or equivalent related education
- Two years’ experience and/or education in the installation and repair of 110, 220, and 440-3 phase
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and systematic trouble shooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
