Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including low and high voltage systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical problems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and wiring.
- Conduct mechanical repairs, ensuring optimal performance of equipment.
- Operate scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Industrial electrician skills, with a focus on both low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Familiarity with schematics for effective troubleshooting.
- Experience in industrial maintenance practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely is a plus.
- Welding experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
