- Collect data and information about OR access and utilization, prepare analyses and reports using published standards to identify progress and adverse trends, and making recommendations and implementing changes when needed. - Lead the development and execution of all strategic growth plans and related strategic projects for surgical divisions.
- Lead the quarterly business reviews and strategic growth work team meetings to ensure execution of surgical growth plans and operational excellence. -10%
- Assist the Director and Surgeon in Chief in the development, implementation and management of the capital and operating budgets using the enterprise-wide standards and processes.
- Challenge systems, processes and methodologies that are not working for the financial health and stability of the department in positive and productive ways.
- Provide financial planning, analysis and decision support to the Director, Surgeon in Chief and Nurse Managers and other stakeholders.
- Identifies opportunities to increase revenue through correct coding, documentation and compliance.
- Participates as requested in activities to establish case rates for third-party payers.
- In coordination with OR Leadership and Nurse Managers, negotiate resource allocation and direct work teams to achieve revenue/expense objectives.

Education and/or Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in field related to business or health care operations.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years health care experience required.
Education and/or Experience Preferred:
- Education: MBA or Master’s related to finance or other business related field preferred.
- Experience: Perioperative Experience preferred.
