Duties
- Perform various nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Sanitate tools and workstations according to industry standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments based on client interest.
- Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate nail colors and designs.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation practices, and retail sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions, body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- A passion for beauty and wellness with an eye for detail in aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
