Manufacturing Dispensing / Blending Operator
Position Purpose and Objectives
The Dispensing / Blending Operator is responsible for following manufacturing instructions as written in the Manufacturing Record to produce a quality product within a cGMP environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Receiving and handling of bulk materials
- Dispensing, weighing, and verifying raw materials (actives and excipients)
- Ensuring raw material containers are labeled correctly
- Blending raw materials as detailed in the Manufacturing Record
- Discharging of finished product
- Responsible for area sanitization and manual cleaning of area and equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Adherence to written procedures and SOPs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Maintaining accurate records/ GMPs
- Attention to detail
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function under pressure
- Ability to follow written directions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Overtime will be required, including weekends, if necessary
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment
- Some allergens and enzymes that may cause allergic reaction are present in the production area
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math skills
- Motivated, organized, and detail-orientated individual
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a cGMP environment
- Basic computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
