We're seeking production lab techs to join the 1st shift at our optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX.
$15.50/hr for Entry level PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.
1st Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Job Description
Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.
Department openings include Inventory as well as Surface and Finish production areas. Duties may involve observing data on job trays, RF scanning, order picking, machine operation, lens handling, cleaning and inspection, ensuring movement of jobs throughout the production process, processing specific customer orders and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- No specific education required
- No specific experience may be required but prior experience in warehouse or mass production operations, order picking, inventory or manufacturing equipment operation preferred
- Prior optical production experience a plus
- Must be able to read and write English
