Position Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team and assist in executing marketing programs across various channels. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working on everything from sales support to content creation, campaign coordination, trade show support, and reporting.
As a Marketing Associate, you’ll be reporting to the Brand team, collaborating closely with our Brand Managers, Creative team, and Sales to help bring programs to market. Your contribution will be crucial in keeping projects on track and ensuring high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Support omnichannel campaigns by coordinating timelines, routing materials, and working in partnership with Brand, Creative, Sales, and external agencies.
Assist with content development, including ads, emails, landing pages, sell sheets, and decks, ensuring brand voice and message consistency.
Help manage product samples and seeding initiatives, including influencer outreach, schedule bookings, shipping logistics, and tracking performance.
Own email/SMS marketing: build calendars, segment lists, route creative, launch sends, and report on KPIs.
Maintain sales and marketing collateral such as sell sheets, buyer guides, display guides, presentations, keeping libraries current.
Trade show support (TPE, MJBIZ, NACS, etc.): handle collateral, logistics, on-site execution, and post-show follow-ups.
Provide data and reporting support by refreshing dashboards and pulling distributor, e-commerce, and POS data. Assist the BI lead with ad-hoc analyses.
Manage projects and vendors via Monday.com/Asana; help coordinate legal and regulatory reviews and keep timelines on track.
Assist with day-to-day marketing operations and special projects as needed to support the Brand team and keep initiatives on schedule.
Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree BA/BS required
· 1-3 years of experience in marketing, brand management, product marketing, e-commerce marketing, or related roles in CPG.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to quickly shift priorities when necessary.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
· Experience with digital marketing tools and web analytics platforms.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling content and marketing ideas.
· Team player with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
· Bonus points for knowledge or interest in premium cigars, nicotine alternatives, cannabis accessories, or experience in CPG, e-commerce, wholesale distribution, or organized retail.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift, bend, turn, and stand for extended periods of time.
Travel up to 25% of the time
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no people supervisory responsibility.
