Knobelsdorff is not your typical EPC. We’re a rapidly growing, boots-on-the-ground electrical, automation, energy, and power services contractor that delivers results on complex projects across the country. We move fast, work hard, and play to win. And now, we’re looking for a bold, strategic, and hands-on Marketing Manager to drive the next phase of growth in our Energy and Power Services divisions.
If you thrive in high-output environments, are passionate about the clean energy transition, and know how to turn technical value into compelling stories, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As Marketing Manager for the Energy and Power Services divisions, you’ll lead strategic planning, content development, and campaign execution that accelerates revenue growth and brand awareness. From proposals and sell sheets to digital campaigns and trade shows, you’ll drive messaging that supports growth, enhances reputation, and helps us win the next big job.
You’ll partner with division leaders, subject matter experts, and our internal creative team to deliver high-impact marketing programs aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans for Energy and Power Services in alignment with companywide goals and division priorities.
- Launch lead-generation and brand-awareness campaigns that support sales targets, growth regions, and market expansion (preventative maintenance, O&M, commissioning, battery storage, utility-scale EPC).
- Content Development & Storytelling
- Translate technical offerings into customer-focused messaging for proposals, sell sheets, case studies, social media, and web.
- Develop marketing assets: proposals, one-pagers, video scripts, pitch decks, email campaigns, and customer testimonials.
- Sales Enablement
- Partner with estimating and business development to arm them with the tools, messaging, and insights needed to close more work and win repeat business.
- Campaigns & Brand Positioning
- Launch campaigns showcasing our value prop in fast-paced construction environments; speed, integration, experience, and “never say no” attitude
- Market Intelligence
- Track campaign performance, lead funnel metrics, and marketing ROI to optimize ongoing efforts.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform messaging and outreach.
- Event & Partner Coordination
- Support presence at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagement opportunities in collaboration with the events team.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in construction, power distribution, or renewable energy.
- Strong copywriting and messaging chops, able to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, punchy language.
- A proven track record of driving marketing results in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
- Exceptional project management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Comfortable navigating between field conversations and executive discussions.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, digital campaign platforms, and video storytelling is a plus.
