Duties
- Utilize medical coding to ensure accurate billing
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Review and appeal denied claims
- Maintain patient billing records
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing issues
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines
