We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Deliver engaging mathematics instruction to students, focusing on concepts such as Algebra and Pre-Algebra, while incorporating real-world applications.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Offer tutoring sessions for students needing additional support outside of regular class hours.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education.
- Engage in research activities related to mathematics education, potentially collaborating with research laboratories focused on educational methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level, preferably within a private school environment.
- Strong understanding of algebraic concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- Experience in lesson planning that incorporates innovative teaching strategies and technology.
- Familiarity with tutoring methodologies and the ability to provide individualized support for students.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
