Job Overview:
Ashmore Connection is currently seeking an excellent Science Teacher for a full-time opportunity with middle school grades in the Burnham area for the 2025-2026 school year!
Duties:
- Planning and instructing lessons on science topics, such as biology, chemistry or physics
- Enforcing classroom management and school administrative policies
- Assessing and accommodating students’ learning needs and styles
- Using technology to deliver lessons and other educational materials
- Communicating effectively with students, parents and staff
- Preparing students for standardized science and post-secondary entrance tests
- Grading students’ assignments, tests and exams
Required:
- Active Illinois PEL with a Science Instruction endorsement
