Position purpose
Complete detailed review of accounts with mortgage assistance to determine accuracy of actions taken including approval, denial, maintenance, decisions, steps completed, agency/investor/state guidelines, etc.
Monitor the timeline of troubled accounts for any foreclosure actions required. Ensure compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
General Responsibilities and Duties for Role:
- Maintain workstation and notes to reflect the account status for proper internal communications.
- Monitor incoming communications through group inbox, personal inbox, tickets, tasks, and other workflow queues.
- Update monthly default reporting and review any exceptions that require system maintenance for FHA/SFDMS, USDA, VA/VALERI, FNMA, FHLMC, and PMI companies.
- Remain apprised of all investor, agency, and regulatory updates to available programs.
- Monitor delinquent or troubled loans for completion of appropriate milestones:
o Mortgage assistance intervention – streamline
o Mortgage assistance intervention – package review
o Contact attempts
o Property status
o Required notices (state/agency/investor)
o Owing 4 Assistance review
- Identify incomplete items and notify appropriate team to ensure any foreclosure referral timeline is met.
- When mortgage assistance and timeline has been exhausted, summarize loan file for the Foreclosure Review Committee and host those discussions and:
o Pull updated SCRA search, PACER, property inspections, notes, and notices
o Estimated value of property for cost evaluation
- Maintain attendance and understanding of the Foreclosure Review Committee charter.
- Track and report on the results of approval/denial at the foreclosure review.
- Perform monthly reviews to validate workstation setup, default reporting, loan status, notes, etc. to ensure accuracy.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

To maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower (and other protected) information, an essential function of this job may require physical attendance in a defined office space.
