MRSS stands for Mobile Response and Stabilization Services. Families with youth and young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing difficulties or distress can receive assistance within 60 minutes after contacting MRSS. They may also receive up to 42 days of intensive, in-home services and linkage to on-going supports. Services provided by the MRSS team may include: safety assessments, de-escalation, peer support, and skill building, among others. Access to MRSS is available 24 hours per day, seven day a week.
Allwell Behavioral Health Services has been selected as a provider of this program in our region of Ohio. We are looking for Case Managers for this growing program.
The MRSS/Family Case Manager will respond as part of the MRSS team to immediate crisis situations as defined by youth/family to assist with de-escalating emotional and/or behavioral health needs. MRSS FCM will provide immediate interventions to support and assist the youth/family to assess/resolve/stabilize the situation. MRSS FCM will provide on-going, in-home/community services for up to 41 days including monitoring, support, education, skill building, linkage/referral to community supports and/or on-going clinical services. May provide traditional therapeutic behavioral services and/or community psychiatric support services for ongoing families as assigned.
TECHNICAL:
- Minimum of Associates degree in mental health or social work assistant with three years relevant experience.
- Ability to work nontraditional schedule- evenings, weekends, holidays, and be flexible;
- Meet and maintain ABHS vehicle insurance standards;
- Valid Ohio Driver’s license and ability to meet ABHS driving insurance requirements
ANALYTICAL:
- Must possess good organizational and communication skills;
- Must demonstrate good judgment skills;
- Able to utilize basic problem-solving skills;
- Able to resolve crisis situations in the most clinically effective manner;
- Able to use electronic medical record/data management systems.
