Job Overview
At O’Donnell Vein & Laser (OVL), we specialize in delivering exceptional care for patients with venous disease while also offering advanced vascular and aesthetic services. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be a vital part of our team, providing high-quality vein treatments, ensuring outstanding patient experiences, and supporting the continued growth of our practice across both our Annapolis and Easton locations. This role blends clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, working closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to uphold OVL’s reputation as a premier vein and laser clinic.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and vein-related assessments.
- Perform and assist with advanced vein procedures, including sclerotherapy, endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and ultrasound-guided treatments.
- Provide patient education on venous disease, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and supervise nursing staff when the physician is unavailable.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all vein care and vascular products, devices, and treatment options offered at OVL.
- Develop and manage relationships with vascular product representatives and suppliers.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures, imaging, and before/after photographs.
- Monitor and manage inventory for vein treatment products and coordinate ordering with managerial approval.
- Assist in developing and updating OVL’s standard operating procedures for vein care services.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and all safety protocols to protect patient confidentiality and safety.
- Participate in community outreach, referral development, and educational events to promote OVL’s services.
- Provide timely follow-up for all vein patients in accordance with OVL protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Maryland
- Minimum 4 years of clinical experience, preferably in vein/vascular or related specialty care
- Strong patient care skills and dedication to improving quality of life for patients
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex medical information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location practice environment
- Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and professionalism

- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 36 - 40 Hours/Week
