Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, gastric lavage, catheter care, and medical imaging as required.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and preventive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in assisted living facilities or critical care settings.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Experience or training in behavioral health, toddler care, or critical care is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with various medical procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
