Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager & Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess law firm management experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and high attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day firm operations.
- Establish and maintain new matters in Clio.
- Conduct client intake interviews and scheduling.
- Manage client retaining process, and handle file closing at conclusion.
- Assist with client billing, invoicing and trust account replenishment in Clio.
- Coordinate vendor services and handle related accounts payable.
- Assist with calendaring and event/task reminders for team members.
- Organize, save and locate case documents in Clio.
- Prepare routine court forms in Essential Forms.
- Serve and file documents with the court.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheet reflecting incoming and outgoing items.
- Utilize DropBox for sharing records.
- Assist with training new staff members.
- Help foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of office management experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Family law legal assisting experience is highly desired, but not required.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- Clio, Essential Forms and/or DropBox experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation range is $60-85K salary DOE, with bonus potential.
