What We Are Looking For
Baylor University's Office of Student Success & Engagement is seeking an Office Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Office of Student Success & Engagement, providing comprehensive administrative support, and ensuring smooth coordination of events, budgets, and student employee management. This role serves as a key liaison between students, faculty, staff, and visitors, supporting the mission of Baylor University through efficient office management and collaboration.
A high school diploma and three years of relevant work experience is required. A bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

- Proficiency in University systems (Ignite)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and track department and program budgets, process reimbursements and transactions using Ignite, and assist with financial reporting and student worker payroll
- Collaborate with staff to plan and execute department events, including securing venues, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site support
- Manage day-to-day operations of the office, which may include maintaining department calendars, handling correspondence, ordering supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment
- Maintain confidentiality and serve as a reference for university procedures and systems
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student employees
- Ensure professionalism and coverage for front desk other needs as identified
- Assist with travel arrangements and reimbursements for staff, maintain knowledge of university travel and purchasing policies, facilitate group travel bookings, and manage office supply procurement
- Support departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned by the director
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
