GSS Lake Forest Home Care is currently seeking a talented and dedicated On Site/ Off Site Medical Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, efficient typing skills and strong knowledge of medical terminology. As our On Site/Off Site Medical Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering medical data, maintaining and updating medical records, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently enter medical data into electronic health records (EHR) system
- Review and verify all data for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all sensitive data
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with industry changes and advancements in medical terminology and data entry methods
- Collaborate with other team members to improve data entry processes and efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college/technical school preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in medical data entry or related field
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient typing skills (minimum of 60 words per minute)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with EHR systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Flexible schedule and ability to work on site or off site (based on availability)

Compensation Range: $84K - $92K
