We’re currently seeking a friendly, motivated, and sales-driven Optical Sales Associate to join our team full-time.
Position Summary:
As an Optical Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in helping patients find the perfect eyewear to meet their vision and style needs. You’ll provide product knowledge, assist with frame selection, explain lens options, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in selecting eyewear based on prescription, lifestyle, and fashion preferences
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and pricing
- Take accurate measurements including PD and segment height
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical area
- Stay current on product lines, optical trends, and promotions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in optical sales or retail sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for customer service and fashion
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn about optical products and procedures
- Experience working with vision insurance (VSP, EyeMed, etc.)
- Familiarity with optical software
- Bilingual is a plus
