Position Overview
As an Order Fulfillment Technician, you will play a critical role in the end‑to‑end order process, from picking inventory to packing and staging shipments. This position demands an exceptionally high attention to detail—often selecting visually identical items differentiated only by complex lot‑number strings—and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Picking & Verification
- Accurately pick products by matching SKU or lot numbers to order sheets.
- Verify item lot numbers against order specifications to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Packing & Staging
- Pack orders securely, following prescribed packing standards and labeling requirements.
- Stage completed orders for shipment and ensure accurate documentation and paperwork.
- Process Adherence
- Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) without deviation.
- Complete quality checks at each stage and document any discrepancies.
- Inventory Support
- Assist with cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Report low‑stock or damaged items to Inventory Control.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: Proven ability to perform highly repetitive, accuracy‑critical work.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable reading lot numbers, barcodes, and packing slips.
- Reliability & Stamina: Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods (up to 4 hours) without loss of focus.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs regularly and perform occasional bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and willingness to assist colleagues during peak periods.
- Work Ethic: Self‑motivated, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions precisely.
Other Qualifications
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Required to change into a company provided uniform for bio-security reasons.
· Must be able to pass a background check and receive a medical cannabis agent card.
