Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, people-first Outside Sales Representative who’s passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Your main role is to build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, chefs, and foodservice clients—ensuring they get the freshest seafood, right when they need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new restaurant and foodservice accounts
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Communicate daily with chefs, kitchen managers, and purchasing teams
- Understand each client’s menu needs and recommend seafood options
- Coordinate with our operations team to ensure timely deliveries
- Track orders, manage follow-ups, and resolve service issues promptly
- Stay updated on seafood inventory, market trends, and pricing
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in foodservice or seafood
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and goal-driven attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
