Packaging Operator I (1st & 2nd Shift)

Shift Hours:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking Packaging Operators to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Fall River, MA. In this role, you will assist in the safe and efficient packaging of metered dose inhalation (MDI) products in compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements. You’ll work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and must be comfortable wearing PPE and working independently or with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment efficiently while minimizing product loss
- Clean packaging areas and equipment between product batches
- Perform and document preventative maintenance and equipment calibration
- Maintain accurate records of line status and labeling
- Ensure proper line clearance and follow cGMP guidelines strictly
- Complete batch documentation, SOPs, and production reports
- Support warehouse, manufacturing, and facility operations as needed
- Wear proper PPE, including respirators, as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ years’ experience in packaging operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of cGMP and SOPs in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read/write in English and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of machinery and control systems
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE (including respirators)
Preferred Experience From:
- Pharma / Biopharma / Medical Device Manufacturing
- Food, Supplements, Cosmetics, Nutraceuticals, Cannabis, or Chemical Manufacturing
Safety & Training:
All team members must complete training on safety and manufacturing standards. Regular re-training is required. Proper use of PPE and safe equipment handling is mandatory.
