Paid FT Advertising/Marketing Intern

Pulsar, the north Texas office of an integrated marketing and branding agency, is seeking a full-time paid intern to work on client-based projects, new business and general account support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, motivated, passionate about all things “marketing” and a self-starter with the ability to juggle a number of assignments and keep them moving forward on-time. This is a great opportunity for the right college graduate looking for experience to add to their resume.
This is a REAL internship (even better - it's paid) with real opportunities to learn (and if you are outstanding - we'll have no choice but to hire you permanently). As a Pulsar intern, you will be assisting the account supervisor (and team) by working with current and prospective clients, conducting market and Internet research, participating in marketing brainstorm sessions, developing social/digital media content and assisting with account administration (e.g., billing, meeting notes, research, etc.) There will also be the usual intern responsibilities (because we all do this) by preparing meeting notes, entering job requisitions/change notices, and, yes, occasionally running errands. The north Texas office is currently 60-80% telework with 1 or 2 days a week in the office.

Must Haves:
- A 4-year college degree in PR, Advertising, Marketing or Mass Communications (or related field)
- Highly organized and motivated
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task under the pressure of deadlines
- Very familiar with working on a Mac
- Knowledge of MS Office on a Mac (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Problem solving abilities
Nice to Haves:
- Excellent writing and editing abilities
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Social networking/media marketing competency
