Overview
Experienced, detail-oriented, motivated Paralegal needed. Small, busy office. Part time but could be more. Minimum 2 years experience required. Primarily family law and discrimination practice, including lgbt issues. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of legal procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorney in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and evidence.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and estate planning documents.
- Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filing of documents.
- Perform data entry tasks related to case management and maintain accurate records.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases.
- Provide administrative support by managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office organization.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with wordperfect and word, if possible.
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and procedures.
- Prior experience as a Paralegal is required.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
