Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part Time Chinese Speaking Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, enabling them to effectively interact with a diverse patient population. This role involves providing high-quality dental hygiene care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting vital signs.
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and apply infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist in general dentistry procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and record management.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Proficiency in patient assessment and documentation review.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
- A valid dental hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
