Part-Time Medical Receptionist
East Holmes Family Care, Inc.
East Holmes Family Care, Inc. is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are a well-established family practice with four providers serving patients across three locations in a rural community known for its traditional values and commitment to personalized care.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 3 days per week — currently Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but is subject to change; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (20–24 hours/week)
- Saturday Rotation: 1 Saturday per month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Work Locations: Must be available to work at any of our offices in Baltic, Berlin, and Walnut Creek. We are currently seeking to fill a position primarily at our Berlin office.
- Remote Work: Not available for this position
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Scheduling appointments and managing provider calendars
- Answering and directing phone calls professionally
- Assisting with patient paperwork and forms
- Entering and verifying insurance information
- Taking patient height and weight measurements
- Rooming patients for provider visits
- Sending and receiving faxes
- Utilizing electronic medical records (EMR)
EMR System Used:
- Allscripts/Veradigm
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic with a genuine desire to care for others
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience is preferred but not required
