We are a leading orthodontic practice based in Porter Ranch, CA. We’re seeking a part-time marketing assistant who lives locally in Los Angeles / the San Fernando Valley and can work remotely but attend weekly in-person meetings at our office.

Responsibilities:
Remote Weekly Tasks:
- Write and format 1–2 SEO blog posts (topics and structure provided)
- Upload to WordPress with proper formatting (H1s, meta descriptions, alt text, internal links)
- Update Google Business Profile (GBP) with blog links, offers, and images
- Create simple graphics using Canva for blog posts and GBP updates
In-Person Weekly Tasks:
- Meet with the owner in our Porter Ranch office (1x/week)
- Review tasks, progress, and brainstorm ideas
- Assist with marketing organization or on-site brand projects
Monthly Tasks:
- Monitor and report on keyword rankings and blog traffic
- Review pages for on-page SEO best practices
- Flag issues from Google Search Console
Requirements:
- Must live in or near Porter Ranch / San Fernando Valley
- Available for weekly in-person meetings
- $16/hour to start
- Familiarity with WordPress and SEO basics
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Basic graphic design skills in Canva
- Reliable, self-motivated, and coachable
Tracking & Communication:
- Use Toggl to track time spent
- Submit a Google Sheet timesheet each week organized by task
- Send a weekly summary email:
- Tasks completed
- Time spent
- Any blockers or questions
