Part-Time Support Staff (Level 11)
Hourly Rate: $17.87
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Reports to STEM Lab Coordinator

Schedule: Mon-Fri - 8am to 1pm (25 hours per week)
Basic Purpose of Job:
Provides lab support for STEM lab courses at the Pottstown Campus. This position is based in Pottstown but may require travel to Blue Bell.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and sets up Pottstown STEM labs in biology, and chemistry.
- Maintains STEM lab inventory for the Pottstown Campus. Assists in maintenance of computer-based inventory.
- Assists in ordering, receiving, and verifying shipments.
- Maintain daily routine for live lab materials.
- Stores and maintains STEM lab equipment. Maintains and repairs models, microscopes, and other equipment for STEM classrooms. Maintains equipment and model files.
- Mixes chemicals for lab solutions.
- Operates autoclave to sterilize materials.
- Performs related duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education/Training/Work Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required with 2 years work related experience required OR
- Associate’s degree in biology, Chemistry or related field preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of specific software or process
- Customer service experience
