Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a dealership parts department.
Proficiency with manufacturer parts systems, logistics, and operations.
Strong working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of manufacturer-specific training or Parts Manager Certification Program.
Familiarity with service and wholesale programs offered by the OEM.
Experience with accessory and lifestyle product merchandising.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Working Environment:
Dealership facility and parts warehouse.
Regular interaction with technicians, wholesale clients, and retail customers.
Adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the parts department in alignment with dealership objectives and manufacturer guidelines.
Manage inventory using manufacturer and dealership systems to ensure appropriate stock levels and availability of high-demand parts.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies for parts ordering, returns, and warranties.
Supervise, train, and mentor the parts team to deliver exceptional service and maintain product knowledge.
Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to ensure timely fulfillment of repair orders.
Monitor key performance indicators such as gross profit, sales volume, fill rates, obsolescence, and inventory turnover.
Maintain and grow wholesale accounts by providing responsive, reliable service.
Coordinate with manufacturer representatives to optimize department performance and implement new programs.
Develop monthly forecasts and budgets, aligning department goals with overall dealership profitability targets.
Implement merchandising strategies to support accessory sales and improve customer retention.
