Job Title: Patient Access Representative II – Call Center Agent

Type: Temporary | Full-time | Onsite training, remote after successful completion
Position Overview
We are seeking Patient Access Representatives II to join our Patient Access & Call Center team. This role is essential to providing exceptional service to patients, ensuring accurate registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
This position will start onsite for 4–6 weeks of structured training (minimum), with the possibility of transition to remote work upon management review.
Schedule & Pay
- Shift: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform admissions, pre-admit, and face-to-face registration for patients.
- Verify and document insurance eligibility (government, commercial, Workers’ Comp).
- Collect patient demographic and financial information (co-pays, deductibles, deposits).
- Accurately schedule patient appointments in EPIC.
- Answer and manage high-volume, multi-line phone calls in a healthcare call center environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service with sensitivity to diverse patient populations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, physician office, or insurance company.
- EPIC experience required – must know how to schedule using EPIC (Cadence, Prelude, Resolute preferred).
- Proven ability to manage high call volumes in a healthcare call center.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Training & Attendance Requirements
- Onsite training for at least 4–6 weeks (may be extended based on performance).
- Full attendance required during training period—time off must be requested at the time of offer for approval.
- Shift assignments will be scheduled between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
