As the People Operations Manager for North America, you’ll lead the team supporting employees, interns, and contractors across the U.S. and Canada. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategy and execution—shaping scalable processes, ensuring compliance, and building an excellent employee experience. With AI-driven tools at the core of our approach, this role will help automate workflows, reduce manual work, and support Tenstorrent’s rapid growth.
This role is on-site, based out of Santa Clara, CA.

Who You Are
- 5+ years of People Operations or HR experience across the U.S. and Canada.
- Experienced leader with a track record of managing and developing direct reports.
- Skilled in navigating U.S. (California and Texas) and Canadian employment regulations.
- Strong communicator with organizational and project management expertise.
What We Need
- Lead and grow the North America People Operations team with coaching and clear direction.
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and audits to deliver a seamless experience.
- Manage HRIS records and reporting, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and insight for leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and align with business goals.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
