We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with route driving and local geography.
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
