As a Pizza Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every pizza is prepared to perfection while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in taking customer orders through the POS system, providing excellent customer service.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience for customers.
- Perform bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining area.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food service practices.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing portions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems for order processing is preferred.
- Culinary skills with an emphasis on pizza preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
