Overview
Responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. Their duties include hiring Construction Workers and trade professionals to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeting expenses for Workers, supplies or tools and reviewing laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities:
- Experienced in planning and coordinating of crews with tasks to be performed, and monitoring performance.
- Key communication point for their job with Project Manager, Area Manager, HR, Safety, Sub-contractors, and other key partners.
- Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs
- Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures
- Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites
- Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
- Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
- Supervise and train workers and subcontractors
- Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints
- Understands submittal data and related construction documents
- Understands equipment installation and operations manuals
- Knowledge of Plumbing start up procedures and troubleshooting
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School degree or equivalent required
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Journeyman or Master Plumber License
- Blueprint reading
- Manage quality control & risk management
- Run a job from beginning to end
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong leadership
Experience:
- 3+ years installer experience
- One (1) or more years as Lead Installer
Computer Skills:
- General computer applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
