We are seeking a skilled and reliable residential Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential plumbing and be adept at problem solving and plumbing code. This role involves working on various residential projects performing installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion within timelines.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing effective solutions to ensure functionality.
- Weld pipes as needed for specific installations or repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations throughout all work performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of Residential plumbing techniques and practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on-site.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
