The Policy and Procedure Analyst - TEMP will provide support to the Operations department through the creation, development, maintenance, and implementation of policies, procedures, and related documents. This position requires partnership with many departments, including Safety and Risk, Legal, Regulatory Compliance, Project Management, Training, and Education.
This is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be approximately until the end of the calendar year, with the possibility of becoming a full-time, permanent position.
Essential Functions/Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to support the development, maintenance, and implementation of policies, procedures, and related documents.
- Develop and update policies, procedures, and related documents to meet state licensing, accreditation, QRIS, and grant requirements, as needed.
- Manage current systems related to policy and procedure document tracking, development, maintenance, approval, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and leadership to the Safety Compliance and Monitoring department through special projects, as assigned.
- Work with field leaders to address questions, concerns, or provide clarity on policies, procedures, and related documents.
- Develop and facilitate district-wide training to strengthen awareness and compliance with policies, procedures, and related documents.
- Partner with the Policy and Procedure Manager to audit and maintain compliance with our policies, procedures, and related documents.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience documenting policies and/or procedures, content editing and formatting experience preferred.
- Previous experience in Operational Compliance, Licensed Child Care or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
None required
Skills & Abilities (i.e. technical, knowledge, etc.):
- Strong working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education standards, licensing requirements, and safety practices.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review, analyze, and edit complex documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Proficient time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with various stakeholders, including field leaders, directors, and teachers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a multi-unit environment.
- Effective in working in a highly sensitive environment dealing with information in a calm, professional, and factual manner.
Travel Percentage:
Less than 10%
Compensation:
- Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
- $35-38/hr.
