We are seeking a passionate and dedicated assistant teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Educate students in foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and physical education.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional methods and engage students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Create a safe and supportive atmosphere for children to explore and learn.
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
- CDA preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a similar role a plus.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Proficient in lesson planning, curriculum development, and proofreading educational materials.
- Ability to integrate technology into the classroom effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A nurturing attitude towards children with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is required to be obtained within the first 90 days.
