Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:45 pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plan (blueprint) and production schedule
- Ensures that there is a sufficient number of raw materials available to complete each job
- Measures and aligns materials to be used
- Operates press brake to manufacture parts/components from sheet metal or metal
- Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Performs routine checks on press brake to detect any issues requiring maintenance or repair
- Maintains a clean work area
- Follows all safety rules / protocols
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions and/or blueprints
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate press brake controls
- Ability to use calipers
- Basic computer and math skills
- Lifting is a requirement of this position - must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
